The adult is carrying an old, leather football under his left arm and has his right arm on the shoulders of the child. The child is wearing a dark green balaclava and a brown wool coat or a duffle coat. The child is pointing up to the sky, obviously in excited conversation with the adult about his football team's performance.

"This original oil painting depicts the special bond between father and son through the love of football. 

As the season progressed, the excitement and anticipation built as our local team got through the early rounds of the tournament!

They rarely made it to the finals, but that didn’t stop us hoping that our team would be winners next season."

Hopes For The Cup, in it's dramatic steely blue/grey frame with burnished gold mouldings would be the perfect centrepiece in any style of room.
