The man, who has his right arm around the woman, is wearing a shabby, blue work suit and has a flat cap on his head. The woman is wearing a brown coat made of some coarse wool or tweed material, She has a red tartan headscarf on her head.

"When I painted this picture of my Mam and Dad, an old song kept going through my head.

Although the song ‘Just Walkin' in the Rain’ was a No 1 hit before I was born, it’s one I would hear from time to time.

And growing up in the west of Scotland - Just Walkin' in the Rain - would be an almost daily occurrence!"
