"I've painted Loch Lomond scenes a good few times now, but never in the winter.

Taking advantage of a dry winter's day, I played hookey from our Glasgow gallery and headed to the east side of the Loch.

I found a completely still Loch Lomond, without the usual tourist bustle, and painted until the sun set and the water held onto the last light of the day."
