“When I was a wee boy, meal times and what was served each day, was as rigid as the calendar.

Monday was 'Stovies', Tuesday was mince, Friday was fish and chisp, maybe chicken or stew on Sundays - I can't remember other days though!

So if this gadgie's home was like mine, he would have pretty good idea of Whit's Fir Tea."
