Overlooking the Tyne is an original oil painting by Alexander Millar.
"I've painted a few scenes of the Ouseburn - a tributary of the Tyne, but this view is looking out to the River rather than the buildings that surround it.
It gives me a great sense of where old industrial heritage is being re-purposed to regenerate the area.
There's a natural basin there, - a great place to sit and paint - that enjoys the vivid sunsets over Newcastle and Gateshead."
Overlooking the Tyne is in a dramatic black frame with gold slip.
