"When I was growing up in a small Ayrshire village, there was't too much entertainment for kids or adults. Apart from going fishing, my dad was quite happy to take an evening stroll to mull over the events of tha day.
I've created this painting is on a smaller scale, which feels right to convey the peace and quiet and the simplicity of an evening stroll."
Contemplation is in a dramatic, oversized black frame with a pewter slip.
