"It''s great to see the days getting longer and to feel a bit of warmth in the sun, but during this tough winter my painting has been keeping me sane (we'll mostly).

I've been revisiting my 'gadgies' characters - the everyday, working class men, women and kids that have defined so much of my artwork. 

So I've created three scenes - Memories of My Dad, Couldnae Catch A Cold and Bring Me More Sunshine - the memories that they evoke all bring a smile to my face, particularly my Eric Morecambe and Ernie Wise painting !

They'll be exhibited in our Newcastle and Glasgow galleries as soon as we reopen but in the meantime the originals and the signed, limited edition prints are available to view in our online store.
