Alexander's Aberdeen Appearance

Alexander's Aberdeen Appearance

Posted by The Glasgow Gallery Team on 15th Nov 2019

Alexander’s ‘gadgies’, golfers and football fans, firefighters and Peaky Blinders are heading north for an art exhibition this November.

Accompanied by original oil paintings and limited edition prints of Scottish landscapes the artist’s much-loved depictions of working men and silver screen idols will be on display at The Chester Hotel.

From majestic scenes of the Scottish Highlands and Morayshire fishing villages untouched by time, to FDNY heroes and Peaky Blinders anti-heroes – there is something for everyone. And of course, no Alexander Millar art exhibition would be without his ‘gadgies’ – everyday working men who manage to retain an irrepressible love of life.

Alex is travelling to the northeast of Scotland in order to help raise funds for ARCHIE – the official charity of Aberdeen Maternity Hospital’s Neonatal Unit for premature and sick babies. So why not come along to meet the artist view his original paintings, signed limited edition prints and drawings in this Alexander Millar art exhibition.

The Chester Hotel, set in the heart of Aberdeen’s fashionable west end, has planned a weekend of various fund-raising activities including a two-day art exhibition of Alex’s work.

Admission is free but a charitable donation to the fund-raising effort is very welcome.

Sunday 10 November 12:00 to 18:00

Monday 11 November 12:00 to 19:00

The Chester Hotel, 59-63 Queen’s Road, Aberdeen, AB15 4YP
