Autumn Sunrise, The Forth Bridge is an original oil painting by Alexander Millar.
"Since seeing the the old black-and-white version of The 39 Steps film I've been fascinated by the Forth Rail Bridge.
Its size and design makes it Scotland's equivalent to the Eiffel Tower - andn it's red painted steel and ironwork make it an absolute icon of the industrial age!
Since I've painted many scenes of the bridges in my adopted city, Newcastle I thought it was time to feature the most famous Scottish bridge.
Autumn Sunrise, The Forth Bridge is in a dramatic, black frame with gold detail and can be viewed in our Glasgow Gallery or purchased online here.
