"A strong childhood memory from one of our rare family holidays, was being lifted up to look over the bridge parapet at the raging Falls of Dochart.

Returning to that Perthshire village many years later, that bridge wall wasn’t quite so daunting and the Falls more beautiful than dangerous.

However the mist, the noise and that negative ion smell rising from these waterfalls took me straight back to being a five year old. Strong memories of sounds, smells, light and the feel of the soft air deliver a sense of place that can span decades."
