The Boys are Back in Town, set in Glasgow, is an original oil painting by Alexander Millar.
"When I was painting this, the Thin Lizzie song of the same name kept going through my head. And although my characters seem more from the 1930’s than the 1970’s, there was the same style, swagger and excitement of youth.
This one is set in Glasgow with the Hielan’ Man’s Umbrella in the background – a mighty railway bridge across Argyle Street where Highlanders coming to Glasgow would traditionally meet."
Includes a dramatic black/dark brown antique look frame.
