"I recently visited some old family relatives in Ayrshire and took time to paint the landscapes (or should I say seascapes) of the Firth of Clyde.

From my viewpoint I could see the dramatic Isle of Arran to the north, and the enigmatic Ailsa Craig further south.

Both islands seem to anchor the turbulent sea to the ever changing clouds above."
