"A few years back, I spent some time exploring Leith on Edinburgh's waterfront. It was just when the city's old port was starting to become gentrified and I saw the mixture of traditional shops and local pubs competing for space with trendy design agencies, boutique hotels and expensive coffee shops."

"It's characters, who make me smile, can still be found today, holding on to a way of life and a community that's fast disappearing."
