Time For Romance

This romantic painting is set behind the clock of Musee d’Orsay in Paris, one of my favourite museums in one of my favourite cities. It was inspired by a memorable scene from “Scent of a Woman” where Al Pacino, who plays a blind serviceman, asks a young woman, who hopes to learn the Tango, if she would like to dance.

I don’t think we should ever reach a point in our lives where romance dies or think that we’re too old to bother, that would simply be living a life half lived.
