Alexander Millar returns to Princes Square

Following the success of last year’s pop-up exhibition, Alexander Millar has returned to Princes Square in Glasgow  – with a permanent art gallery. Princes Square is home to the third Alexander Millar gallery, the other two being in New York and Newcastle.

The gallery exhibits a collection of originals, drawings and limited-edition prints that feature his much-loved ‘gadgies’. Peaky Blinders’ gangsters and golfing characters from his most recent work – the ‘Fairway to Heaven’ collection – are also featured. Collectors and fans will also have the chance to view and to purchase some very rare, and no longer available, paintings and prints from the artist’s own archive collection.

With reference to Alexander’s Scottish roots (he was born and brought up in the Ayrshire village of Springside), the Glasgow gallery will soon exhibit a collection of iconic, Scottish landscape paintings, which the artist is currently creating.

Between visits to his gallery in New York and his dedicated exhibition space in Newcastle’s Hancock Gallery, Alex will be in Glasgow regularly, so call in for a chance to meet the artist and enjoy this fabulous collection of his work, or enjoy a virtual tour of the gallery here.
