Geordie Best is a rare, signed, limited edition Giclee print on canvas on board, based on the original oil painting by Alexander Millar.

It was produced for Alexander Millar's 'Working Man' exhibition at Scotland Street School Museum in Glasgow as part of the Homecoming Scotland celebrations in 2014.

"Back in the day when there wasn't any money for toys, an old ball or a tin can would provide hours of fun.

Dreams of scoring that deciding goal in the last minute of the Cup Final transported me from my everyday surroundings to the hallowed turf of Hampden or Wembley.

Our foorball heroes back them seemed like gods - particularly the magical George Best."

Geordie Best is in a dark brown/black, mottled wood effect frame with a silver slip and can be viewed in our Newcastle gallery or ordered online.
