From Dusk 'til Dawn, a rare Giclee print on canvas and mounted on board, is from Alexander Millar's private archive.
It was produced for Alexander Millar's 'Working Man' exhibition at Scotland Street School Museum in Glasgow as part of the Homecoming Scotland celebrations in 2014.
"I remember my Dad working for British Rail at some point, and typically the easiest way for him to walk to work was along the railway tracks.
Growing up in the 60's, there seemed to many more branch lines and freight lines (some overgrown and unused) to remote corners and nobody seemed to worry about using these as short-cuts."
From Dusk 'til Dawn is in a dark brown/black, mottled wood effect frame with a silver slip and can be viewed in our Glasgow gallery or ordered online.
