Flying Solo is an original oil painting by Alexander Millar.
"Flying Solo, a term coming from the air force when a pilot would by flying on his own, usually means going out and about on your own.
In the west of Scotland it has a cheekier connotation - usually referring to some old chap who is enjoying a wee night out on his own, going from pub to pub and having a blether with anyone who would listen!"
Flying Solo is in a dramatic, oversized black frame and is available to view in our Newcastle Gallery and also available to purchase online.
