An original oil on canvas painting of one of New York's bravest.
The Everyday Heroes portfolio started when I visited New York a year after 9-11. The church near Ground Zero displayed some very touching artefacts that prompted me to discover the personal stories behind the images we all know. These stories inspired me to paint the 'Everyday Heroes' of NYC.
These paintings led to an exhibition of this work in the Fire Dept Museum of New York and to a two year galley space for my work on Manhattan's 5th Avenue
